This week.

I haven't been posting all that much this week, but summertime is busy and I don't have the energy to type at the end of the day. How do you bloggers do it ?
Anyways. we had a great week ! Me and Phil got a big break from the kids : 2 nights just the two of us. It was the first time since we have kids that we got out that long. We spent the day in Montreal, just walking and did a little shopping... We even went to the movies DURING THE DAY ! Star Trek rules by the way.
The next day we spent one night at a Spa in St-Côme. We drove 2h30 and listened to music really loud ! We laughed, sang and we're just being stupid. It was cool, we felt so free ! We really relaxed at the spa... No diapers to change, no fighting, no yelling, no "mommy I don't like your supper" or "I don't want to get dressed".  My kids we're pretty good with their babysitters, so it's less stressful to leave them. Thanks Alison and Cilia for watching the little one's,  we really appreciate it :)
The only thing is... Phil's back isn't doing good. We treated ourselves with a massage. It felt so good ! But since Phil has back problems, it got even worse. So I'm back to living with a crippled. I hope that he will get well soon because it looks very painful... and you know, I'm alone taking care of the kids.
I snapped some pictures from this week. I didn't take many, oops.

Relaxing.

Still relaxing... ? Haha!

Remember the day when I had a cookie on my face?

Well, you probably don't remember because I never said anything about it, but it was fun and the cookies got eaten in the end... oops.
We we're actually relaxing after driving for more than an hour to go spend the day at the beach with family. My little girl gets car sick, so we have to stop a little because she cries and is not comfortable at all.

We spent the day with Phil's cousin Catherine, her boyfriend and her kids. It was sunny, the water was warm and the little one's got along really well. Theo (the boyfriend) kept me laughing all day long. He's such a hoot.

Posing.

Always playing guitar.

A mother's life + stripes and catching butterflies.

My life is mainly taking care of my kids full time and you know how they can be : they fight, they yell A LOT and my younger one seems too be very out of control at times. I know that we have some really good days and some kids aren't always fighting like mine, but as a mother I do raise my voice, I do put my kids in their room and I do "lose it" sometimes.
I am a stay-at-home mother, I'm not ready to work or study just yet, but I am very anxious that one of them will start school and the other one will start (part time) pre-school. I think that my kids are tired of being together all the time and they need a big break from each other.
We're planning a special 3 days without the kids soon and I really hope that my friends and family will be supportive about it. We need time as a couple for more than a couple of hours, you know ?
We will be needing babysitters, but we can't afford to pay someone for 3 days.
Thanks for your support :)

On another note, we went catching butter flies this morning. It wasn't any success, but Loik did like spying on them. Miko cried most of the time and Saule had some fun, but was getting bit by
mosquitoes. Loik and Saule are dressed in stripes. I think it's pretty cute. Oh and Saule looks likes she's dressed to go play tennis. Funny.

She found a map ball.

Searching for butterflies

I love this picture of her.

Still searching...

In a very bad mood.

Crying.

"Oh, I'm ok now"
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

Babysitter + pictures of saturday evening.

Tomorrow I'm having a babysitter over for 3 hours to play with the little's while I do some stuff in the house. It's the first time I pay someone to take care of my children. I think she's 12 years old, (kind of young) but she says that she loves kids. I really hope that my little's will like her because I will be needing her assistance once every week or so.

I'm not feeling all that well and I need a little time off + have a talk with a professional. I don't want to get into details here on the blog because I want to keep things "positive", but I just wanted to let you know that things aren't that great over at our house.
I guess that having a babysitter from time to time will help me. I will keep you posted.

We went to Catherine's house yesterday and had some fun with new friends + kids.
I really like how the kids play with one and other. They didn't even fight, maybe a little, but nothing serious. I snapped a couple of pictures that I would like to share. Enjoy.

This little guy is so cute.

They worked pretty hard on this beautiful house.

This weekend.

We kept busy this weekend and spent most of it outside !

We went to our local market (it's open every Friday till September) and bought some yummy organic food, honey and some syrup. We also got an invite for a nice supper with friends !
The next day we went to another market to get some soaps, strawberries and pure beeswax candles. I LOVE these candles because they actually clean the air when burned : it produces negative ions which attract and neutralize impurities such as dust, odours, mold bacteria and viruses. When beeswax burns it calms the inner senses and sweetens the room with the pure scent of honey. I didn't have time to burn one yet... can't wait !
We also went to a fair, ate a lot of junk food, screamed in some crazy rides, jumped into bouncy playgrounds and had another nice supper + camp fire with my best friend and her kids ! What a busy weekend ! I am tired and I need a nap. ;)

Thanks for stopping by.
